Yeah, I got approved today.

Y'know, I don't really have a whole lot to say about it. It was just a basic interview. Just some questions asked, and stuff on paperwork verified.

Stupid LA office, we were there way too long. Almost 2 hours total!

Should get my green card in about 2 weeks, then I'll be done for 1 year and 9 months, woo. Exciting I know.

EAD and AP Approved

I got real sick and tired of looking at no changes on the USCIS website, so I stopped going there all together for about 2 weeks.

I got really bored today and decided to take a look at it to see 04/26/10 beside the two items.

Clicked them and it turns out they were approved April 24th, 2010.

I wonder if I'll even get them before the interview.

And the bank company Chase is full of bums. I can't get on my husband's account without two valid IDs and an SSN. One of them has to be a state ID or driver's license. I can't get a license without my EAD/Green Card so I can't get on his accounts for proof for the interview. :/

Stupid.
Not to mention the DMV here takes at least a month to get an appointment.

Well, I got a letter in the mail yesterday for a green card interview.

I was hoping I wasnt going to get one, but I guess I can't have everything easy.

It's for May 5th... and thanks to it I have to go onto my husband's accounts n stuff earlier than I wanted, oh boo.

Eh. I guess that's life.

Biometrics and Etc.

Long time no blog.

Over the last month, I've gotten my NOA 1's for the 3 papers, check's been cashed and my biometrics was done. Few things were learned in the process... just really one big thing though.

Because I live in California, I will most likely not get transferred to CSC. Pretty much every single person living in California gets an interview. I've been told various reasons for this, but I think the top one is that so many people are trying to get green cards that they're trying really hard to weed out the illegals. It sucks, because I was hoping to avoid collecting evidence and stuff. Just blah.

Had my biometrics done on the 19th of March. It was a simple process.Filled out paperwork, talked to someone because I changed the name that was on my K-1 visa, got a picture and fingerprints taken. I had a really bitchy biometrics lady, but I dont want to waste my breath on her.

She just needed her coffee.

Waiting on an interview letter... since I will most likely be getting one. Le sigh.

Yup, I finally mailed it. Mailed it on the 19th of February.

The package ended up being almost 1.5 lbs because we included the last 3 tax years for both my husband and my husband's dad who co-sponsored me.

Just waiting on the check to be cashed and our NOA1s.

According to the forums I go on, I should get my EAD and AP around the end of April. Who knows if I'll be able to get a job though, the market still really sucks.

Married

Well, we got married on January 27th, 2010 in Las Vegas.

It was a cute little ceremony and a nice dinner.

We have a dvd of it and some pictures. Getting a ton more from my uncle sometime next month.

Now we just have to get our certificate and ask for help with the support thing. Here's hoping it wont be hard and that we dont have to have me sitting around at home for alot longer.

We got a Wii Fit as one of our gifts. It made me realize how hard it really is to burn calories and that I'm a tad bit more overweight than I thought. I wonder if it'll help me getting into losing weight.

Support Form Troubles

Well, my poor fiance got terminated from his job of 6 years on the 22nd of this month.

Now that he no longer has a job, we have to file for AOS with a co-sponsor... we're hoping his dad agrees, as he makes enough money to sponsor me.

I have no clue how a joint sponsor works, and I guess we're going to find out. I just hope this doesnt cause me to get a green card interview, I would like to fly by without one.

Getting married in 3 days. Woo.

Can you tell I'm excited? Sarcastic, I know.
